Purslane

I got a plant! I haven't had my own plant since I was around 7 years old. I was very excited, but I chose to do it at not such a great time. Being caught up in the moment and all, I completely forgot that I am about to be out of town for over a month. I'll have an orphan plant. : ( One of my neighbors has some plants so I'm thinking of asking him to foster it. Later.

PIZZA PIZZA

I decided to make a pizza for dinner tonight. I've never actually made one before and it was a lot of fun. I bought the crust pre-made in the refrigerated biscuit section of the store. I only put onions and tomatoes since I'm not a big meat fan. I wanted more veggies but apparently I don't like too many that can be put on pizza. Anyhow, I was happy.

Sick...Again

Bloggin' It All The Way

I went to the doctor today. I have a throat infection...again. This is the third time since January, well 3rd time I've gone to the doctor anyway. I only go half the time. I got some medicine, but I'm actually feeling worse. I have an exam tommorrow and just can't get my focus to study. I'm going to bomb it big time. My head just doesn't care right now.

On another note...about the car break in: I now see little surprise in what happened since I was outside today and watched four young teenage boys (14 or 15 tops) walk across the parking lot. I noticed one of them had an ankle strap thing...the ones you get when you are under house arrest. WOW. Maybe I should have reconsidered the move. I love my apartment but I'm a little scared now.

I'll try to do some studying, I still have puppy fever! I can't help it! They are so adorable and I'm so lonely!!!

It Just Keeps Getting Better!

Bloggin' It All The Way

Well, my life has been unfortunate the last couple of days. Last night I locked my keys in my car when making a quick errand. I tried to slide down the backseat window with my hands because it's a little loose. It moved a little, enough to make an attempt with a hanger. An unsuccessful attempt at that. I ended up having to get a Tow Truck to unlock it for me. (Which was interesting to watch!) Oh ho, but the fun has just begun!

Last night I came home and parked my car in my apartment parking lot (which ends up to be a total of about 120 feet from my front door). Well, tonight around 9pm, I went to use my car and noticed it had been broken into!!! Lovely, a broken back window and all my personal belongings ravaged through. My new (really nice) stereo was taken along with my old one which was in the trunk. I feel very violated. What did I do to anyone?

Most frustrating of all is.....If you are going to be a thief, at least do it right! The idiot(s) who did this stole my old radio which does not work (thus the new one) and stole the faceplate to my new one. They didn't take the stereo, just the faceplate!? They made a pitiful attempt to take the stereo out with my guess being a screwdriver. All that was accomplished was they completely broke it and left it in the car.

Let's take a recap:
THEY GOT:
*broken old stereo & faceplate
*faceplate to new stereo that will not work alone
*at least one cut from the broken glass

I GOT:
*broken window (the triangular shaped one...more expensive than the big ones!!)
*car completely trashed
*the delight of cleaning broken glass
*a broken stereo with no faceplate

WELL, I mean at least they didn't actually acquire anything that will be of value to them right?

I have to get to bed. Hope my luck improves! Laters

A Hornet's Capture

Bloggin' It All The Way

For the last two weeks I have been trying to get up the courage to knock down a hornets nest that is being build above my front door. Yesterday, I had a friend knock it down with a broom (because clearly, I never would have). They were quite angry, but have since started to rebuild. A little while ago, I was sitting on my bed and looked up and saw a hornet on my curtain!!! I debated for quite a while about what to do and finally decided to get it to fly off the curtain and land somewhere else where I could spray it with either cooking oil or hairspray (owning bug spray would have made my life so much easier!) The little fella just kept landing back on the curtains! So I finally decided to put tape on the back of the dust pan and used the broom to try and get it stuck to the tape....Eventually it ended up between the miniblinds and the window. I sprayed it with hairspray and it slowed down and I finally just pushed the dust pan onto the window pinning the bug between the tape/dust pan and the window. I went outside to check that it was really trapped and decided to take pictures of my window because it looks pretty funny. If I ever figure out how to put up pictures here, I'll post it. It's still there because I want to make sure it's dead before I move it.

I am trying to recuperate from my "work-out" so I can study...I have an exam tommorrow. Wish me luck! Later. :)

Lazy Day

Bloggin' It All The Way

Back to the Future just came on tv. It's on in the background while I'm on the internet. Some of my friends invited me to get ice cream later and I'm ready now. I'll try not to eat all day until they call.

Yesterday was my dad's 50th birthday. My mom is taking him to New York City. They are going to see the Yankees play and lots of other stuff. They are going to see the Blue Man Group and take a cruise around the harbor. They'll have fun!

The mailman knocked on my door at 8:45am this morning. That was a surprise. I didn't know they even delivered mail before 3pm. I guess this one does! My parents sent me a box of gifts for no reason! It was nice and all the stuff was really cool. Included was a small box of chocoaltes which, surprise surprise, is already gone :)

Here is a website that I visit often. The woman tells about her experiences raising her pug dog. It's quite interesting. She posts about three times a week, Take a Look:

Bloggin' It All The Way
Okay,
It's been a whopping 10 minutes and I'm already frustrated with this thing. Everyone elses pages look so much better! AND, I don't know how to change the display. I guess I'll just come fool with it later.

My First Entry

Well, this is my first entry to my new blog site, Bloggin' It All the Way. Granted the title of this page is odd, but I was forced to make one up. Right now, I am not doing much. It's Friday afternoon and instead of being ambitious, I am just being lazy. I have a test on Monday and should probably study, but that never seems to be the choice activity. Any-hoo, I'm going to spend the next few minutes setting up this site. : )
