Random Act of Kindness
Alright, so I may be stereotyping here, but I'd say about 85% of the Landcruisers here drive crazy! Not to say that others don't, but almost all of these bad boys do. So anyways...last week I was leaving work and got stuck at a backed up round-about. Typically there are police there directing traffic to help out, but not this day. So, all of a sudden the traffic on my side was going, going...so I figured a cop had gotten there and was letting us go. Lo and behold, I reached the round-about to see a Qatari in a Landcruiser who had just parked his car in the way of the traffic and was letting everyone pass. *blink*blink* Could this be true? I wanted to take a picture. It was really surprising (and appreciated)! So there are nice traffic deeds here after all!!

Ma'am there are two things that we do here in Qatar... Drive, and then drive some more... there is not much else to do in this part of the world, might is right here, so if you see a L.C just give way and pray that he doesnt ram into you haha ...

i'm getting a LC soon. i promise i will not drive like them. i'll reduce the 85% to 84.99999 %
I think this is why everyone drive a LC. Driving is so crazy in Qatar that you only feel safe behind the King of all Roads, Toyota Land Crusier.
By the way, this topic goes great with the theme of my new blog, "Why I don't break for expats."
Now to invest the time and effort into finishing it.
there are still many kind people here n there ..iam glad 2 hear that from you.. i also saw some who do the same. even personally,, one day, i was in the City center mall. i was lookin 4 a parking place to park, a guy saw me waiting. he came 2 me and told me that he is going to leave and asked me if i want to park in his place after he leaves. but i was waiting 4 some1 to take him and leave..i thanked him alot..i hope there are many people like him.
